Cardiac Imaging

Cardiac imaging is visualization of the heart structure and cardiac blood flow for diagnostic evaluation or to guide cardiac procedures via techniques including Endoscopy, Radionuclide imaging, Magnetic Resonance imaging, Tomography or Ultrasonography. Non-invasive cardiac imaging refers to a combination of methods that can be used to obtain images related to the structure and function of the heart. For invasive technique catheters are used to REPLACE INTO the heart and this test is easy to perform and safe to detect various heart conditions .As a result of technological advances the number of available non-invasive cardiac tests that physicians can order has increased substantially over the last decade.
